Okay, this one is way too easy. See, the way you approach this is to 1) establish that the church believes in the Bible, then 2) simply quote the Bible’s position on gay bishops.

So, here goes. The Episcopal church, the American version of the Anglican church which was formed to allow King Henry to divorce his wife, "believes in the Bible but does not worship the Bible." Close enough.

On to step two. Now you need to understand that I’m no scriptorian and I might not get the reference and wording exactly right, but I’m thinking of the Bible scripture that says "Gay bishops? Are you freaking crazy?!!!"
