Funny story: When I got this brand new e-mail address I didn't want it junked up with spam. So I looked up a javascript to encode the name. I had to type in my name and click "generate code" and then paste the code.

Yes, I am that dumb. A few weeks later I noticed the spam folder was chock full. When I clicked on the "generate code" button it sent my e-mail address to every slimy spammer on the planet.
